American workers have known about this for years, if not decades.

Yup, I was told to transfer my knowledge to one of these unskilled workers our company hired and didn't want to send back. I just couldn't agree, and was one of many reasons for leaving that company. Some of these corporations have no real clue.
DeleteAfter leaving the Army I got a job and after a year was "told" to train my replacement sand nigger and I would get paid 2 weeks and a bonus and be edible for rehire. So I did train him, every thing wrong and not to spec and wrong information, I left at the end of two weeks, never cashed the last check and eventually the company tried to sue me and they couldn't prove I trained(never signed or initialed a training checklist) or collected a paycheck and bonus, best revenge I ever pulled.
