ReplyDeleteAnother answer: Venezuela, one of the richest countries in the world at the time because of their oil production, couldn't even pump it out of the ground because the people who took over production didn't know shit about running a oil company, much less a country. All they knew how to do was misuse the profits, and the infrastructure fell into ruin.
